Love Ruffs. A small out of the way seafood and grill. The whole place I would recommend as #1. I have eaten all over Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. I can honestly rate the seafood with Wentzils, The Fish House and The Feast in Mobile. Hands down top 10. Large portions and good prices. Quaint restaurant with a down home atmosphere. The woman that greeted us at the door was smiling and happy. We arrived between lunch and dinner, wasn't an issue, just a happy to have you, glad your here kind of day. I have now found my happy place, good comfort food, quiet get-a-away from all the hubbub of everyday life. I will be back many times. If you haven't been there, it is a must to try. We have been to Ruffy's several times when it was on 82, and we have now been several times since it has become a brick and morter in Stanton. The food is always fantastic, hot and fresh. Service is great, but like every new business, there will be hiccups while everybody climbs the learning curve. The food is cooked to order, so it's common sense that there would be a wait. If you want subpar food in 10 minutes, go to McDonalds. I'm amazed that people can walk into a restaurant, ask for the wait time, be told the wait time is an hour/ hour and half, not even order food, and give it a one star review! Nobody seems to mind waiting an hour and half for Longhorn, but you have a problem with this place, WHY? Because it's in Stanton and they should be quicker since this isn't Prattville? And ya'll want to know why we don't have any places around here to eat at. Lord Bless it. ~ Erin D

Eat at Ruffy' s for the first time Thursday. The food was fantastic, the service was great and the atmosphere was tremendous. The oysters and hamburgers was fantastic, cooked to perfection. Dave made sure to speak to all his customers. A great place to eat for a small town. I will definitely return with some friends and also tell others about Ruffy' s. If you haven't tried it yet you're missing a great meal. 5+ ~ William P

Food is great and the owner is awesome! It’s hard to find vegetarian food options around here, and after finding out my wife was a vegetarian, he ordered veggie burgers and added them to the menu! That is a level of service you don’t get usually get from restaurants! The staff were also great and you can’t beat the price, a family of four eating for ~$40 these days is almost unheard of! ~ Daniel F

I have been eating at Ruffys for years! Food is always amazing, and if you have a problem with any of the food, David will make it right, and be happy about it! The Mahi Mahi is amazing, the chicken fingers and new potatoes are fantastic, and David's seasoning is out of this world! Will definitely be back! ~ Linda B

Love going to Ruffy’s. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. Everyone is always so nice and asking if they can do anything for you. The food, wow! The food is flavored just right, not overwhelming and not bland. Never had anything that was not delicious. ~ Greg L

DO NOT PASS THIS RESTAURANT! The food and service is fantastic! All in our party were so impressed. We came through riding the SEBDR and we loved it! I have the catfish with the mixed vegetables and home potatoes. 10/10! ~ Spencer S

I had the catfish Po Boy with side of cole slaw and a drink for $12. It was great. Best Po Boy I ever had. All the staff were friendly and the owner appreciated our business. I'll be back. ~ john m

ruffy know how to season things perfectly, they sale everything. if he doesn't cook it you don't need it. the dinning area is super nice, just a wonderful little place to eat ~ charles l
